1970 Triumph Spitfire
Phase 2! I Looked in every paper, in every junk yard, and even online for a Chevy 283 and a transmission to go with it. I never found anything that would fit into our meager buget. Then one day my buddy Clay, the guy that has made most of the car work possible, found the almost perfect deal. It wasn't a chevy and it wasn't a 283 smallblock but it fit the money price. The pictures of the BIG silver car you see below are of a 1982 Ford Lincoln Town Car which has or should I say "HAD!" a 351 Windsor engine. The Town Car ran before we took her apart. In fact, the Town Car cruised the 3 hour trip to her final resting place in amazing comfort and class. Now now, don't feel sad for our Lincoln Town Car, her 351 Windsor engine will soon Purrrrr agian....I hope!
