Made up of Matthew "Mattie Jay" Willis, Charlie Simpson and James "Jimmy" Bourne.

Mattie plays bass guitar (but can also play electric), Charlie plays guitar and drums, James plays guitar.

Released five singles so far:

- What I Go To School For- Went to number 3

- Year 3000- Went to number 2

- You Said No (changed from album title of Crash and Burn due to the shuttle tradgedy)- went to number 1

-Sleeping With The Light On- went to number 3

-Crashed The Wedding- their second number 1!

-"A Present For Everyone"

a1 were a four-piece boyband made up of Ben Adams (English), Christian Ingebritsen (Norweigen) and Mark Read (English) and Paul Marazzi (mixed race).

Paul left in October 2002 due to personal reasons.

Ben and Christian are doing solo music and Mark is songwriting.

Darius:

Scottish

Was on Popstars and got laughed at because of his 'Britney moment'.
