SOUTHERN NIGHTS

Setting on the back porch on a balmy night in the swing, swatting at skeeters, dreaming of the grandkids you're going to get one of these days is my idea of Heaven on Earth.

Watching the fireflies lift up from the ground to fly off to who knows where is magical. My pleasures are simple and my wants are few.

I hope you've enjoyed my little bit of humor. Another fine old Southern tradition is pokin fun at yourself and your family and friends.
