     A TRIBUTE TO THE MOUNTAINS

    It is the domain of pure air and the abode of color.

     The place of clouds, like sheep’s wool, and of the
        Ever changing clothing of bountiful foliage the year round.

                  It’s clothed in majestic green in summer and spring, and in
            Gaudy colors of red, yellow, brown, and orange in fall. It  is dressed
              Like a harlequin,  and like a harlequin it brings laughter and joy.

          There you can smell the earth, you can see the wind , you can taste the colors,
               And above all you can sense the spirit of God.

          The people of the mountains are happy caring people who welcome strangers,
              And make them feel like they have finally come home.

        I have tried to convey to others my passion for this place,
       but it can never really be told!
        It can only be experienced.
