  • 1 pound (3 ½ cups) of Fresh Strawberries (trimmed and halved)
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Rounded ¼ tsp. Cardamom (Ilaichi) (grounded)
  • 2 cups of Plain Yogurt (wholemilk or lowfat)
  • 1 cup of Ice Cubes

  1. Purée strawberries with sugar, cardamom, and a pinch of salt in a blender until smooth. Add plain yogurt and ice, then purée until smooth again.

Serving Amount: Makes 5 cups
