  • 3 cups of Orange Juice
  • 1 1/2 cups of Brown Sugar
  • 3 Oranges
  • Orange Rind (large pieces)
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks (Dal Cheeni)
  • 1 tbsp. of Whole Cloves (Long)
  • 2 tsp. of Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 6 quarts of Apple Cider (unsweetened)


1) Combine orange juice, brown sugar, orange rind, cinnamon sticks, cloves and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan. Continuously stir over low heat until the sugar is well dissolved. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat and simmer gently for anout 20 minutes. Strain into cider; heat throughly to serve.

Note: If you are using a sweetened cider, reduce the brown sugar to 1 cup.
