  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • ¾ tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Baking Cocoa (unsweetened)
  • ½ cup Water
  • 4 cups Soy Milk or Rice Milk


  1. Combine cocoa, sugar, water, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir well until it dissolves (approximately 3 minutes).
  2. Then add the soy milk or rice milk and stir constantly until piping hot (for about 3-5 minutes). Then add the vanilla extract.

Tip: Great with a shake of ground cinnamon and/or a vegan non-dairy whipped topping.
