  • 2 pounds of Halal Stew Beef
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 tbsp. of Heinz 57 Sauce (peeled & chopped)
  • 1 large can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 small can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can of Vegetable Broth or Beef Broth
  • ½ cup (1 stick) of Butter (Makhan)
  • 2 bags of Frozen Green Beans (Phaliyan)
  • 2 bags of Frozen Cauliflower (Phool Gobhi)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (Pisi Kaali Mirch) (freshly ground - to taste)


    1. Cook beef in a large water filled stew pot or tall soup pan with onion and Heinz 57 Sauce.
    2. When the beef is nearly done add remaining ingredients and continue to cook. Be sure to keep plenty of water added and stir occasionally. The longer it cooks the better the flavor. This is best when allowed to cook all day.
