  • 12 slices Whole Wheat Bread (toasted)
  • ½ pound Deli Turkey Breast (thinly sliced)
  • 8 slices of Cooked Bacon (disregard if making a halal sandwich.)
  • ½ pound of Deli Ham (thinly sliced) (for a halal sandwich you may use halal chicken instead.)
  • 8 Leaf Lettuce Leaves
  • 8 (¾ ounce) slices of American Cheese (or any cheese of your preferance)
  • 8 slices of Tomato
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon-Style Mustard
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise

1) Combine mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl; mix well. Spread 1 tsp. of this mixture on 1 side of each toast slice.

2) To assemble each sandwich, layer 1 slice of toast, mayonnaise mixture-side up, 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice of cheese, 2 ounces of ham (or chicken), 2 slices of tomato, 1 slice of toast, mayonnaise mixture-side down. Spread 1 tsp. of the mayonnaise mixture on toast. Continue assembling each sandwich with 1 slice of cheese, 2 ounces of turkey, 2 slices of bacon (if using), 1 lettuce leaf and 1 slice of toast, mayonnaise mixture-side down. Cut into triangles. Secure with toothpicks and serve.
