I want to share a story about a miracle that happened in the office today. These type things are not common in USA but for some reason there seems to be a lot of demon activity here.
Dorcus, a senior 4 student on our program, lives about eight miles from school. She has been walking daily, so for S4, which is a difficult and important year, we felt it was best to find a place nearer to the school for her. An uncle, who is a strong Muslim, allowed her to share a home with him and his two kids.
The very first night she was there, they heard a loud whistle type noise and then things started falling in the house. The uncle went into convulsions and a neighbor girl took him to the hospital, where he was sedated. The staff would monitor him so the neighbor girl returned home.
All night, strange things were happening with noises and doors opening and slamming and a sort of mist coming in and running around the house. Poor Dorcus was terrified and ran home the next day. Her mother scolded her and said she was telling tales and she came to stay the next night. That night things became very bad with what looked light lightning and noises and falling objects and all sorts of terror. These people are not radical or hysterical types at all. As Dorcus was telling me all of this, tears were flowing and she was shaking all over. I was in the office alone during lunch time when I phoned Rev. Agabus Baguma, who is an older and very wise priest. The two were insisting I not call him said they would just go home. I told them to stay put and Agabus left lunch at his home and came to my office along with the Cathedral Vicar. They listened to the same story and talked much with the people in their language. They were told that the uncle has been haunted for over a year and that his wife ran away in fear. They also said that he has fetishes and other objects, the purpose of which he was trying to protect himself, but being a staunch Muslim, he would never talk with priests. They said that they would take that chance and went to the hospital to meet with him.
I am happy to report that this poor tormented man prayed with the two priests and has accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior! During the initial prayer, his breathing and tremors stopped and the nurses were just amazed! As I type this report to you, a carload from the church has driven to the uncle's home and are going to burn all the fetishes and witchcraft materials in the house and then have prayers to cleanse the home. Dorcus and her mom are just thrilled and they are all excited about the family being united in Christ and the man being freed of those awful demons. We also pray now that his wife would come back and accept Christ so that their two little boys can grow up knowing the miracle of Christ and His love in a fully saved family!!!!
No one can say that my job is routine or boring can they? :-)

P.S. The church members have just arrived back at my office and they report having made a huge fire of all the witchcraft things and that the rest of the family have accepted Christ, which is all the more amazing as today is a big Muslim holiday!
