Fred loves watching the fights on television with Ricky. He is a tightwad and hates to spend money. He is also the landlord of the building.

Lucille Esmeralda McGillicuddy was born in Jamestown, New York. When she married Ricky, they moved to a house in a small apartment in a converted brownstone. One of Lucy's ambitions is to be a show business performer. She has absolutely no talent. Lucy often conspires in far-fetched plots with her best friend, Ethel. These plots always get them into trouble.

Ethel Mertz is one of the most loyal friends on television. Lucy Ricardo is her best friend even though she gets her into trouble. Ethel Mae Potter was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She married Fred and they settled in New York and invested their money in an apartment building. Since the Ricardos moved in, Ethel and Lucy became the best of friends and scheme all the time.

Ricky Ricardo lived in Cuba until he married Lucy. He has a temper to beware of. He works at his nightclub, "The Babulu Club." Ricky constantly yells at Lucy. When Lucy gets on his nerves, he launches into one of his Spanish tongue- lashings. He is a loving husband and father. Ricky's big break never seems to come.
