Sean 'Puffy' Combs (oh my bad P-Diddy) was found not guilty on all five charges against him. But his protege Jamal 'Shyne' Barrow could face up to 25 years in prison.
Sean "Puffy" Combs faced five to fifteen years in prison on a weapon-possession charge and two to seven years on a bribery count, stemming from a Dec. 27, 1999, incident at a New York City nightclub.
Combs' driver, Anthony "Wolfe" Jones was acquited on three charges.
However Puffy and his driver were found not guilty. While Puffy protege Jamal "Shyne" Barrow was found guilty of first-degree assault and several lesser charges and immediately taken into custody. He faces up to 25 yrs in prison.
Combs briefly addressed reporters after the verdict, thanking God, his mother, his lawyers and others for supporting him throughout the trial. However, Combs would make no comment about Shyne's guilty verdicts.
The jury of twelve; seven men and five, women believed Combs contention that he was merely a bystander when shots were fired after he and Barrow had a confrontation with Matthew "Scar" Allen at a midtown Manhattan nightclub, Club New York.

Now on to another topic
What's up with Puffy's name change??
In an MTV interview on Wednesday Sean "Don't Call Me Puffy" Combs announced that he no longer wishes to be known by "Puff Daddy". He will now go by the far more weighty title of "P-Diddy," a familiarity originally bestowed upon him by his late friend Biggie Smalls, aka The Notorious B.I.G. Combs also repeatedly asserted that he would always love Jennifer "J-Lo" Lopez, despite the fact that she dumped his no-tipping ass and has been seen slumming with a lithe and fruity dancer named Cris. Poor P-Diddy!!!!!!
