My Rose Garden

These Tea Rose are 4 years old, and are some of the first roses we planted in our rose garden; The pictures do not do them justice; for instence the tea rose you see to the right of this paragrph the color looks more orange, in real live the color is a most unusual shade of salmon orange. The unusual shade is what makes this one of my favorites.

This yellow tea rose is also 4yrs. old. I have to admit it has given some problems. The blooms are small and delicate , when they first open they are a bright fragerant yellow; however the sun does tend to fade the color to an almost cream color.

This rose is 4yrs. old and my husband and daughters favorite rose of all ! The color of the picture does not compare to the living color in this rose. It reminds me of Red Velvet cake, and instead of fading when planted in direct sunlight it get's darker. These roses will servive the winter frost, however they do much better if you cover them at night during the winter.
