Zeger was born in Arizona, but moved to Angel Grove soon after his birth. When he was two his mom began taking Martial Arts lessons and Zeger went with her. The barly out of infinatsy child mimiced everything they did in class, so his mother signed him up. He went to every class and learned everything quickly, but when he was four his father was paralyzed in an accident and they had to move to Los Angeles because of the specialist he needed to see.

Zeger continued taking martial arts there, but his mom who was a substitute teacher was having a hard time finding work, so when a friend told her about an audition for a four year old boy for a martial arts movie. She took Zeger to the audition and he got the part. After that more roles came, but it wasn't until he was thirteen that he had star status. The martial arts and horror movies he was in were hits at the box office and he won awards for them, but never let it go to his head. He still went to normal school when he wasn't filming, but on the set his mother was his tutor, so he never fell behind.

Even when his parents hide from him that they were officially no longer together Zeger knew. He knew they were only still together because of him, so he kept his mouth shut not wanting to loose his Mom. His Dad he had lost when he was four, but that was his fault. He spent years being afraid of his Father, but when he was fourteen his Mom started going away more and more. One time when she was gone Zeger found some of his Dad's old comics at a local shop and brought them since he didn't remember his Dad making comics. He took them to his Dad and talked to him for hours about comics and everything else his Dad wanted to hear about his life. Zeger ended up falling asleep in his Dad's bed. In his sleep he almost ended up fully healing his Father without ever knowing he was the reason his Dad started doing better. However it had a side effect. That day was the first time Zeger's thundaritis acted up.
The Doctors gave Zeger less than a week to live because of his age. It was doing his short time in the hospital that Z and a female patient he met came up with wanting to live and living like you wanted to. Sure he doubt it would work for him, but he got checked out and went with it. He did however only do one more competition after that. The drugs he was on were supposed to just make him comfortable, but he wasn't sure if they would give him an edge or not in the competitions as the years went on. So only a few days out of the hospital he competed and won his last martial arts tournament. He lived with the pain turning the tournament and through his last day of filming on the movie he was working on. He told no one of his illness and his Dad kept his mouth shut too. His Mom rushed home when she found out how sick he was and interupted him and a classmate from school in his room about to fuck. She threw the girl out, but nothing else was ever said of it.

When he was fifteen a large tumor was discovered on his fathers spine and just before he had to start chemo and have sergery Cole told Zeger he wanted to go fishing with him before he became too sick. Z took his Dad up to a cabin where they could fish and be alone, but the day after they arrived his Father died. The teen was devastated and stayed out of the public spotlight for awhile, but still did movies to try to keep his mind off of it. His mother after that began having problems concentrating and remembering what she was doing, but she kept it from Zeger. Seven months later his mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

She needed to get out of Hollywood for awhile, so she moved back to where her family lived in Arizona, but her father began to abuse Zeger like he had done to her. His Grand Father drugged him and locked him in the basement where he was beaten and raped by his Grand Father's friends. The teen ended up killing his Grand Father in self defense. It was all over the news and Magan decided the only real place she still had friendly family was Angel Grove, so she moved her self and Zeger back there.

Zeger became emancipated so he could get control over his Mother's medical treatment to make sure she never ended up in a hospital again. Part of the emancipation was he had to graduate from a normal High School. He could do a home study program offered from the school to be able to work at the same time, but he just couldn't go get a GED. The normal High School life the judge wanted for him didn't work out so well. Most of the students just wanted to hang around him for his money and some feared him because they couldn't tell the difference between who he was and who he played and the rest he wasn't around enough to become friends with. His only friend he had he knew just because her Mom is one of his Mom's nurses. Not that it bothered him much at all. He had people who didn't know who he was online that he could talk to.

Arrival-Since moving to Angel Grove Z had avoided going to any parties because he knew what the kids wanted from him. What he wasn't expecting was for the kids to drug him and leave him for dead. His body was found by Lord Zedd's forces and used as a bargaining chip to get Zedd's son Connor back. Zedd had no plans on releasing Zeger though because the DNA that ran through his veins would be useful to him. Zeger refused to do what he wanted, but almost opened the door to the underground city when Zedd was about to put Heather under his python's spell and have her do it. At that moment something took over his body and forced the snakes evil inducing venom out of his body. Going on just feeling Z put the Phantom ruby into the door lock and released a light that gave everyone with the DNA of those who were tested on centuries before the means to transform into Power Rangers. Knowing the forces he had with him he would be over whelmed Zedd left. Afterwards Dinotris took Z down to a secret part of the underground city and be stole on him a machine that only he could use. One that could take away the Ranger power or make them all under his control.

With his nature of wanting to help people he took Karone and Zhane into his home to give them a place to live and took Heather and Kim under his wing to help them both get over their demons. Kim grew to despise him for it because he always seemed to know when she was going to try to buy drugs and somehow always found a way to stop her. EVEN WHEN HE WASN'T IN THE STATE. Heather on the other hand wasn't sure what to think of Zeger. He wouldn't take a get lost for an answer and went out of his way to try and help her get over all her fears. Zeger only started out wanting to help her than skipped over wanting her as a friend step to knowing that even if she remained a home bound recluse he would be right there to take care of her. He loved her that much, but would never tell her that because it would freak her out. Instead he just flirted at her a bit. Okay a lot. With what he saw when he opened the door he wondered if waiting was worth it.

First Battle-Their first battle as a team fell into their laps by accident. Connor suggested they all get together at his place to discuss how the team thing would work. Basically he just wanted to nominate himself as leader. Karone and Zhane were all for it, Zeger felt unease about it, but didn't care since when he suggested Heather she looked like she wanted to kill him, Heather just remained silent about all of it, and Kimberly was against it. She used his lack of wanting to help her find Z before he died as a reason why he shouldn't be leader. Before Kim could nominate someone they heard a monster attack over Lt. McKnight's home police band. Ignoring Connor's request for Z, Heather, and Kim to say yes for him before leaving they all headed over to the attack, morphing just before getting there. They never found out what the monster had been after, but whatever it was he got. The Rangers had lost the battle since they had been split between falling bad orders and ignoring those orders. Afterward Z knew he shouldn't have brought Heather or Kim along since Heather wasn't ready for a battle yet and Kim was going through withdrawal, but the more he was around Karone and Zhane the more he felt they weren't his allies. All he had was Heather and Kim.

Dual-When Z had to go to the New York Comic Con to promote Star Wars Episode 7 he took Heather with him. He hinted at his feelings for her, but when she got uncomfortable he covered it all up by saying he didn't want to sleep with her because he had a ton of other people he could sleep with. Male and Female. True, but just because he was okay with his sexuality did not mean he slept around a lot. The number he told her he lied about. It did make her feel better and they spent the night on the suites couch watching movies and ended up falling asleep together. With the night before making Heather more comfortable being alone with him that day messed up any progress he had achieved in her fears. It started off with James giving Z a letter from a patient and after he had called his ex-assistant to fire her for not telling him the girl's father had been trying to get a hold of him , Z was attacked by a man who had harmed the girl using Jedi like powers after finding out he had some of his own. Z fought off Jason once he stopped using the powers, but the damage to Z's body was already extensive. In the end he could stop the assault and rape. Heather and James found Z before he died of his wounds and Z was taken to the hospital. After finding out Zeger would be okay Heather took off on her own to stop Jason from hurting anyone else. James followed her and by the time the elevator stopped on the first floor Z was waiting for them. Jason's house was a trap and while Heather and James, who also turned out to be a Ranger, fault Jason Z almost burned to death in a fire. He was saved by Michael, his fans Father. Together they found Marty who had been kidnapped by Jason and Z went to help James and Heather while he thought Michael and Marti were leaving with the evidence of what Jason had done. In the end Michael and Marti returned to the fight as the Titanium Ranger and Gold Zeo Ranger with Marti showing Jedi powers just like Z and Jason. The battle ended with Jason's death...but Z doesn't remember that.

What could have been-During a battle Z took a direct hit while unmorphed by a monster and instead of dying was somehow transferred into the body of his counterpart in another dimension. At first Z thought he was dreaming since his Dad was alive, but as it went on he realized he wasn't. In this dimension Cole was just beginning a resistance movement against Zedd who had ruled the planet before this Zeger's birth, but got turned in by his own people. After he was killed Z was taken to the labs because they didn't find him useful since they didn't know about his powers.
