Challanging Goro eh? You wern't supposed to fight him now. Are you THAT eager to die?
-Shang Tsung, Mortal Kombat

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Pros: Not Updated
Cons:Another very anticipated, disappointing title.
I'd just like to say that Konami must have felt like under ant circumstances, this game had to feel like the old bash-'em adventure games.
Well, Thanks a lot Konami! You ruined a game which had the potential to be one of the funnest, most memorable games of all time.
The game is only 2 Player.
Hello?!?!? Count 'em... there are 4 Turtles.. not to mention Casey Jones and Master Splinter.
Now, You can unlock the ability to play as Casey and Splinter during Story Mode.............but this feature is only 1 Player... yet another mistake.
You should be able to play as Casey and Splinter alongside the Turtles in a 4 Player game.... DUH!
Another note is, look at the "Lair" stage.
It is laid out like some sort of skatepark.
Now, if this isn't an opening for some Exteme Sports gameplay, I dont know what is... Not to mention a simulation of such should have been included anyway since they are seen using exteme equipment in the new show, plus the fact that the TMNT has an extreme sports rep anyways.
Yet Another thing is, the actual gameplay is kind of lame.... you can only use weapons and they are drawn at all times, you can't even dis-draw them unless you want to do a lame double-team attack where you can't even move,
The TMNT cannot use hand-to-hand ninjitsu in this game, you can't even kick when you want to...or do a flying kick. You cant jump very high, and you even have to EARN your arial attack.... WHAT THE SHELL IS THAT!?!
The voices and pop-up badguys are waaaaaay too repetitive... and the bosses are no challange.
The addition of any vehicle levels..ex. Battle Shell, Shell Cycle, Sewer Slider, Turtle-Tunneler, Hang-Glider, Turtle-Chopper, or Foot Razor-Jet Bike....They are nowhere to be found.... which is another thing that could've made it a better game.
And considering this game was made to follow the cartoon anyway, the layout for Story Mode could have been identical to the storyline in Season 1 of the new cartoon... but they couldn't even do that right.
The GBA counterpart for this game was decent... but even it isn't nearly long enough and the last level with the Shredder seems lame... and it dosn't even vary according to which turtle you select like the other levels.
