Origin:Darien was never a good kid. He was orphaned at a young age and coasted from foster parent to foster parent, all of them living in the slums, none seeming to want him for more than a few weeks, month tops. He made lots of friends with the wrong crowd, and by the time he was 13 he had ran away from the orphanage, and took to the streets. The first week was hard on him, having no place to go, but that didn't last long. He quickly found a family that accepted him for who he was, The called themselves Barklow's Boyz. After being initiated he was commiting crime his first night in the gang. It started out small enough. Petty theft, vandalism, drug peddling. But that soon turned into armed robbery, car jacking, and even murder. It's not like Darian had no morals, but this was his new family, and so he played by their rules for 2 years.
Then, as the story goes, things took a turn for the worse. Drugs came up missing, and Barklow wanted answers. He knew it was an internal job, and so Barklow slowly and maticulously waited for a sign. Turns out it was Darian's best friend within the group, Sammy Jones, who had stolen the drugs. Tension ran hot, and Sammy disapeared without a word. Darian didn't need to search for the answers, he knew what happened to Sammy. Darian couldn't accept his friends death, and he went after Barklow. But things don't always go as planned, and Darian ended up at Barklow's mercy. Instead of killing him, Barklow instead set him up to take the fall for a crime Barklow himself was currently under suspicion for. That crime was murder, and the courts tried Darian as an adult at the tender age of 15.
4 years is prison give one lots of time to think, and lots of time to fester upon the past. Darian counted the days, playing it nice in prison, hoping for an early pardon. He got his pardon at age 19. The police had turned up new evidence that proved his innocents. The story hit the media like a blitz. And that brang upon a old face Darian had NEVER seen before. The day he walked out of that prison, there stood his mother. The woman who had abondoned him. Not having anywhere else to go, he moved in with her, relunctantly. Turns out she was sorry. She was only 16 when she birthed Darian, and had no choice, she said. Darian accepted this and was willing to start a new life with this woman he had never before met.
But things don't stay good for long. Old truths burn hard in the hearts of the wicked. Darian went out one day to find a job, and came back to his mothers apartment to find it lighting up the night sky, it's flame devouring a life he had would never again know. Darian vowed that the he would devote the rest of his life to putting an end to all the scum of Paragon, of course the first order of business was Barklow...
