Brandon Lee

No human being on the planet earth could have played the role more perfectly. Unfortunately he was killed during the making of the movie. I don't have much hope of meeting him now. During the filming, one of the scenes that was later dropped called for the use of a .44 caliber revolver. They, of course, used blanks. Blanks have a lot more gun powder in them then real bullets for an extra loud effect. They have still have caps on them, though. Funboy was supposed to aim at the camera and pull the trigger. The gun was loaded with a blank that had a vey small amount of powder so as not to break the camera. That scene was shot and finished, however, when a stage hand cocked the gun again the cap was not dislodged, rather, it was forced into the barrel. The next scene required for Brandon to be shot while carrying in some groceries. He walked in with the bags in his hands and the exploding fake blood capsules strapped to his abdomin. When the gun was fired, the cap was shot into Brandon. The extra powder in the blanks caused the cap to be shot out at a very high velocity. After hours of intensive care and operations, Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son, Eliza Lee's husband, and one of the greatest actors of all time, died of a stupid mistake. Brandon Lee, Rest In Peace.
