HEIGHT: 5’1" (154 cm)

WEIGHT: 106 lbs (48 kg)

"This is worse than being nauseous!" – Zero referring to being in an Ingrid

Zero is definitely the main character and is tagged as candidate #88. He is extremely energetic almost to the point of hyperactive. He lacks patience and often gets himself in trouble by saying whatever he feels. An examination revealed Zero was a Zenoah which means his body requires no automics. His strength is his EX. His weakness is his zero gravity sickness. Please note that Zero was born under the name Rei Enna.

HIEAD GNER #87

TECH REPAIR: IKHNY ALLECTO

AGE: 15

ENGLISH VOICE ACTOR: John Bumley

HAIR: SILVER

EYES: RED

HEIGHT: 5’4" (160 cm)

WEIGHT: 115 lbs (52 kg)

Well I guess you could call Hiead our "angst" character. (Kind of like Matt in Digimon 01 and of course Kai in Beyblade) He is tagged candidate #87 and appears to be very cold and cruel especially to his repairer. He doesn't want anyone to "get into his head" as he puts it. Zero irritated Hiead from day one so the episodes center around quite a bit of competition between these two candidates. As with most angry characters, a flashback reveals Hiead has had to endure a tough, violent youth. Hiead was very jealous that Zero got into a Ingrid before him and constantly tries to outdo Zero at every turn. It is also interesting to note that Hiead has the same EX level as Zero, although everyone is supposed to have different levels. Nobody likes to get close to Hiead because they are afraid of him. We don’t know anything about his past, except that he has recurring nightmares about his childhood.

CLAY FORTRAN #89

TECH REPAIR: SAKI MIMORI

AGE: 15

ENGLISH VOICE ACTOR: Jim Taggert

Clay is very intelligent actually almost brilliant. He is tagged as candidate #89. Unfortunately, he frightens easily and finds solace in running away from confrontations. Clay is very analytical often citing the phrase, "This is very interesting."

ROOSE SAWAMURA #85

TECH REPAIR: WRECKA TOESING

AGE: 14

Roose is tagged #85 and is the youngest of the new candidates. He is friendly but naive often relying too much on Yamagi. He was too overweight to begin Pro Ing training simply because he loves to eat. Eventually, thanks to Wrecka, he looses the weight, however, the quick weight loss did cause him to tire easily. In the episode "Dreams" Roose exhibits his crush-like attitude towards Wrecka.

YAGAMI KUSHIDA #86

TECH REPAIR: TSUKASA KUSCHA

AGE: 15

Yamagi is tagged as candidate #86. He is small in size but certainly not in attitude. When he wants to, he can be quite the little smart ass. Even though Roose seems to irritate him at times, they seem to be pretty good friends.

ERTS COCTEAU (Senior Candidate)

TECH REPAIR: ROME LOTT

AGE: 14

HAIR: BLONDE

EYES: BLUE-GREEN

Erts is the most gifted of the top candidates even though he is the youngest. He has strong telepathic powers and so does his brother, Ernest Cuore. Because of these powers Erts is able to feel the pain of Victim which makes him reluctant to fight. He is, however, very dedicated and will do what is necessary to save Zion. Erts is also able to read the feelings of thoughts of people and this causes some of the others to fear him. In the Manga it is interesting to note that Erts and Zero form a romantic relationship.

PRO-ING

The Pro-Ing is the Mecha used by the candidates during training. It is also used during battle with Victim if the Goddess Pilots have called for assistance.

The Pro-Ing basically mimics its pilots movements and is equipped with a beam rifle, power blade, and defensive force-field abilities. The repairer is able to set percentage restrictions on the Pro-Ing during a candidate's training.
