Bulletin You probably have noticed how thoroughly I get off on the new ‘sight gags’ with Invisible guy, I just like the thought of someone making gestures even though some people can’t see him. I don’t want to say too much for fear of having to explain how it all works. Let’s just leave it how it is, it’s better this way with the mysticism and the peanut butter, trust me.
Some of you may or may not notice but today’s comic is not of the usual .gif format, but the wildly popular .jpg format. It basically is just a difference of where the distortion goes. In a .gif format file the distortion is spread lightly across the whole image. In a .jpg file the distortion is usually around the edges of dramatic color changes. It has always been that the comic looked better in .gif, but today’s was pretty bad, so this was the alternative. I’m not sure if I’ll stick to this format or what. If I had unlimited bandwith I would go with the .png format that offers almost no distortion at all, of course it makes for a bigger file size too.
Hey bandwith, what a perfect segue, the folks here at angelfire have cut my storage space in more than half. It actually happened a while ago, I’m not sure if I mentioned it. Anyway the only reason the comic ended up being hosted here was that they were offering 50 mb of space. I could put up with the pop-ups and ad banners for such a generous amount, but now we’re down to 20 mb. I think I’ve used 12.somthing so far so it’s filling up quick. This all sums up to the fact that I want a new host, trust me you want me to have a new host too. Think about it folks, the possibility of seeing this site with no pop-ups, isn’t it wonderful. So if you know of a good host that is free and offers 30-50 mb of space, then by all means let me know.
Note to readers: If you bookmark this site, it is best to bookmark pcrack.cjb.net, just in case this host goes down that is a redirect url and it will take you to wherever I put the newest comic. © 2001, 2002 I scream, you scream, we all scream for crack.
