Gary Jules’ song ‘Mad World’ is heard during the epilogue of the movie Donnie Darko. It hits you like a fucking jet engine upside the head. To listen to it now after seeing the movie a couple times it feels haunting almost tear jerking. No other song really goes that well with that one, so I just listen to the damn thing over and over. I should probably go get some Jeff Buckley or Nick Drake, but I feel far too apathetic for that, definitely part of the slipped. You should check out the song and the movie. Heck the damn movie forced me to buy a DVD player so I could see the deleted scenes. I’d say more but I’ve already given too much away.
