The Opus N' Andy Rap

Okay, I'm really ashamed of this one. I've always hated 'bad rap' ala the Superbowl Shuffle (my name is so-n-so and I'm here to say...) and then I go and do this awful cartoon. It pretty much was just a way to mention a few notorious events from the semmester that I hadn't gotten in yet. Yes a girl did take her top off in the hot tub in Cincinatti and a guy named Jason Rexroad, who I think was only in band for one semmester got drunk and ripped out a bunch of celing tiles from the hotel. We also won a game that year 56-3. I think it was over UNLV so it was a pretty big deal. None of that was really worthy of a cartoon, though. However, I am proud of the goofy poses Opus and Andy are in in frame 3.

To explain a couple of things: Brian Wis formed a little vocal quartet that sang at the band banquet one year. They did a song called 'Don't Go Throwin' That Microphone' that was about Bibb getting mad at rehearsals. The refrain had a line that went 'And Bibb yourself, we want you to know /you had a lot more hair four years ago.' that I borrowed in frame 6. The last drawing has Andy rapping some nonsense words. These were from a cheer he used to lead in the band that made absolutely no sense, but was fun nonetheless. It goes like this: Ay, a-way a-way /Ay, a-way a-way /A tikki tikki tumba /A tikki tikki tumba/A moosa moosa moosa /A moosa moosa moosa/Oli-o oli-oli-oli-o/Oli-o oli-oli-oli-o
