Cover Ah.. This one is very think-making. Those with small brains should approach with caution. "Descent" This one is VERY heavy on dialogue. It's really important dialogue, too, even the "badly constructed melodramatic prose." Because Johnny is finally beginning to realize what's really going on. What's happening to him. Aaaand... who's doing it. It's vital to the overall plot of the series. And also, it makes me just want to give Johnny a hug. Bob, whose head be wobbly. ooh. I like this song. XO! "These are not good times to be near me" I don't know if that's the title or not. Anyway... Nny goes down into the basement, meeting Tess and Dillon, who are chained to the wall. And guess what room they're in. ... Well, that's half right.. It almost is a room with a moose. But Moose is still in the wall. Nny and Tess talk about the horrible things he has done... and she makes a stupid assumption which REALLY pisses Nny off. Then he quotes The Fly. And we meet.. Mr. Samsa!!! xD. Nny pays a visit to his little neighbor. He needs a band-aid. "A Call". Devi's back, and looking MUCH less annoying. She and Tenna are discussing her last date. I think we can safely say that she is traumatized. But.. Tenna convinces her to call him.. and it's unpleasant. Gunshots, screaming, etc. ick. Meanwhile... After Breakfast. Ah. A very very very very very very clingy little boy, and a mother who must get to work. Public Service Announcement. Drugs are bad. So is running away from home. In this one... Johnny is interrupted by one of two things. Either the ranting thing is himself, or Jhonen putting himself into the comic.. I don't really know. I think it's Nny though. It's all very depressing, either way. "A Call?" Johnny goes through another suicidal time. He's set up a robotic arm with a gun in it and a tracker. When he lifts the receiver of the foen, the gun will follow him. However, it won't fire until he talks. However, D-Boy makes a valid point by saying that no one's going to call him, and that Nny lacks the courage to off himself. Finally, Nny shows some control and knifes D-Boy, which I applaude. He also tries to turn off the arm... but.. it was never on. Which means that he has now turned it on. Which means.. Bad. Because just then, the foen rings. (Anyone paying attention would know who it is.) HNB! He sits on heads today. Johnny states the obvious. |
