5/18/2003: I guess that a 19-year-old such as myself really does not have enough experience under his belt to give life lessons, but I really have some advice for anybody who is planning on attending college in the future:
BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOUR ROOMMATES ARE
I am not kidding. I made the mistake of picking my roommates purely based on the fact that they all share the same religion that I do. Unfortunately, we all have different opinions of what being a righteous person entails. To put it simply, this place looks and smells nasty, one roommate owes the rest of us almost $400 in back rent and utilities, and I keep finding porn on my hard drive.
My second piece of advice is to not have Windows 98 on your computer. The passwords are too easy to override, as my roommates have proven to me on several occasions. I have started counting the days until I get to move out: 31. In just over 4 weeks, I'm going to start giving my parents grief again. Sorry, Mom and Dad!
