Scoring average ranked second on the Nets to Derrick Coleman's and was tops among all NBA point guards ... Led the Nets to a 45-37 record, the team's best showing in 10 seasons ... New Jersey advanced to the playoffs for a third consecutive year but lost in the first round to the New York Knicks ... Contributed 15.8 points and 6.8 assists per game during the series.

1992-1993:
Had the Nets rolling through the first 55 games of the season, averaging 16.9 points, 8.2 assists, and 1.75 steals as the club ranked second only to the New York Knicks in the Atlantic Division ... Suffered a fracture to his right wrist on 2/28 when fouled by John Starks driving the lane, ending his season.

1991-1992:
Selected Anderson as the No. 2 overall pick in 1991 NBA Draft by New Jersey Nets ... Had difficulty settling on contract terms, and missed all of training camp and the first three games of the season ... By the time finally signed, on 11/8, Coach Bill Fitch had decided that Mookie Blaylock would be his starting point guard ... Appeared in only 64 games with the Nets, playing 17.0 minutes per game ... Averaged 7.0 points and 3.2 assists and shot .390 from the floor.

COLLEGE:
Sporting a game honed on the playgrounds of Queens, N.Y., put in two splendid seasons at Georgia Tech, averaging better than 20 points and earning All-America Second Team honors from The Sporting News in 1990 and 1991 ... In freshman season Anderson helped the Yellow Jackets to the NCAA Final Four... Declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft after sophomore season and was selected with the second overall pick in the 1991 draft by the New Jersey Nets.
