This webpage is dedicated to one of the most prolific and enigmatic heroes of the DC Universe.

It all started for MANHUNTER when he first appeared in DC's ADVENTURE COMICS #73, in April 1942, originally created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. The MANHUNTER strip ran until ADVENTURE COMICS #92, in June/July 1944 and wouldn't be picked up again until 1973 in DETECTIVE COMICS #437-443 by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson. It is this series that cements Manhunter's place into comic history.
