In the very distant future, the year 195 of the Universal Century, there was a big problem. Years before, all the nations of earth had joined into one organization called the Earth Alliance Federation(EAF). People started moving into space colonies surrounding earth, governed by the EAF.But the secret society known as OZ started to infiltrate the EAF. People in the colonies were ruled by a tyrannical fashion; people were opressed and freedoms were restricted. Many colonies were riled by these actions. Some tried to establish peace between the colonies and earth.
But the peacemakers were gone, in one way or another. All the trouble was the work of OZ. So the colonies inveighed their anger by sending five pilots in five gundams to earth to destroy OZ. Those Gundams were giant machines, known as mobile suit to wreak destruction. A single Gundam could obliterate any bulwark that protected OZ from the outsideforces. The gundams could cut sown and destroy any enemy troops. A gundam needed a pilot to operate it, and the five pilots sent to earth were young boys trained from an early age to fight for the colonies' freedom
