Vega is a tough-ass detective-lawyer. She's always solving the cases of murder and rape. Cold cases are her favorite. Vega is tough enough to take on a street gang. But she has some lady classes to her. Vega hates perverts.

    Okakara is Vega's help/informer. They met in jail. Vega received a tip from cops on a murder crime that a prisoner would by holding clues there. Okakara was the prisoner. He made a perverted pass to the detective and she slapped him. But later, Okakara revealed the clue to Vega. She solved the case and his sentence was cut in half. Now, Okakara helps Vega with her cases. He even develops feeling for her!

    Chief is Vega's boss. He hands her all of the cases for her to close. Chief is a dirty old man and is trying to get Vega and Okakara together.
