I'm not really sure how to open this review. I never played this game as a kid, but did pick it up second hand when I got on a huge Megaman kick during 2nd semester of my senior year of high school. This is a Megaman game, but at the end of the day, you can tell the franchise has officially jumped the shark. Repeating factors and drug use show up in full force, and while I'll always admit that hindsight is 20-20, apparently Capcom developers are blind, cuz this game just doesn't cut it.

What I liked:

Some cool bosses, sorta.

What I didn't:

Storm Owl = Storm Eagle without the good.

Magma Dragoon. Fire. Hardly exciting.

Jet Stingray just sounds like a puss.

Slash Beast? Slash Man? Come on.

Frost Walrus just sounds like a puss.

Cyber Peacock's level is completely retarded.

Web Spider is just plain dumb, and basically serves as target practice.

Split Mushroom is one messed up boss. I think he makes pizza down here.

Controls: 9. Fine.

Graphics: 8. Solid.

Sound: 5. Still sucks. No way to fix it.

Style: 0. Gets worse each time. Same crap, different smell.

1st hour: 9. WOW. So many new bosses. Awesome!

2nd hour: 7. Didn't I fight that guy in the last game? Yeah, and the one before.

1st week: 7. Not that hard, but frustrating anyway.

2nd week: 6. Getting old. Played it too much before.

1st month: 4. One and Two are better. This one's average but doesn't stack up well against past history.

The number one reason I HATE THIS GAME is that I've played the better versions already: Megaman and Megaman 2.
