Rogue's Bio.

Rogue's mutant power is to absorb a persons psyche, and superpower temporarily. This leaves the person unconscious until the it wears off. But lately she has been able to regain powers and psyches she absorbed in the past.

Rogue's real name has been revealed to be Anna Marie.

Rogue was born and raised in Mississippi. She ws an orphan, and was raised by her foster mother, Raven Darkholme, Mystique. Rogue first discovered her powers when she kissed her friend Cody, and put him in a coma.

As she grew into adulthood, she joined Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. And she absorbed Carol Danvers, Marvel Girl, power of superstrength, flight, and invulnerability, and psyche permanently. This put Carol Danvers in a coma.

Rogue became public enemy number one, and was hunted down by the government. Forge made a neutralizer device to take away her powers, and Henry Gyrich tried shooting it with it. Storm protected Rogue, and took the shot; thus, losing her powers. Rogue was taken into the X-Men's hands shortly, and joined the team.

Rogue would turn into Carol Danvers at times, but then back to herself.

Later, Rogue fought Mastermold, who was combined with Nimrod. She told one of the X-Men to shoot the tentacles that were keeping Mastermold/Nimrod from getting sucked into the Siege Perilous, but she would go with it. They cut it, and Rogue went in the Siege Perilous.

Later, Rogue emerged from the Siege Perilous back to the X-Men's hideout in Australia. Unlike the other X-Men, she had no anmesia, but she lost her powers. She bounced into the Reavers, and ran to the mutant Gateway, who teleported her to the Savage Land.

Rogue was found by Magneto, and he gave her back her powers. She got intimate with Magneto, but it didn't last long. Magneto killed Zaladane, and took over the Savage Land.

Later, Rogue rejoined the X-Men on one of its teams. She fell in love with the mutant Gambit.

Later, she broke up with Gambit, and left him with her teammates in Antarctica because it was revealed in a trial, which was held by Magneto under the disguise of Eric the Red, that Gambit recruited and led the Mauraders into the Morlock Tunnels to massacre the Morlocks for Sinister.

Later, Gambit found his way back to the X-Men, and Rogue forgave him.

Later, Rogue and Gambit transferred to a new team, the X-Treme X-men. She had confronted a man called Vargas, who knew about Destiny's diaries, and killed Psylocke. Rogue had absorbed Destiny's psyche when she was with Mystique's Brotherhood, so she knew what to do to stop Vargas. Vargas mortally stabbed Rogue, and beat down Gambit. But Rogue used Wolverine's healing factor, and ended up killing Vargas.

Later, Rogue switched back to the X-Men book. She caught Gambit cheating on her with a girl named Foxx, who was Mystique in disguise. But Rogue forgave Gambit.

Lately, Rogue's permanently absorbed Sunfire's powers after he was dying.

I used various X-Men related comic books from my personal collection, and the Ultimate X-Men book by DK for reference.
