Hello & welcome to a private universe created by Fabricio Franco, On this page you will find Bio's & Micro Heroes telling the adventures and misadventures of a group of heroes and villains.

Singularity: is essentially a bio-morphic being who possesses the ability to assume the properties of a type of bio-molecular, high-tensile metal and thus shaping himself into objects of various sizes, shapes and densities for a variety of uses. Primarily, he forms bladed weapons out of his fingers and arms, yet he is quite capable of forming shields, hammers and other basic shapes and properties. He can transform only his hands, underarms and the sides of his torso (the purple parts of his body) and his main focus of his power is to form blade-shaped objects out of his fingers, hands and underarms. These blades have a high cutting property to them. There are few things that he cannot cut or that given time he cannot eventually cut through. Even the strongest of metals must eventually give way to his attacks. In addition to the numerous shapes he can take on, he also may cause his body to become slightly malleable and as such, stretch his limbs in virtually any direction for a certain number of meters, granting him increased range when he is attacking. He can strike full force with this, throwing a powerful punch behind it, or forming pinchers to grab and hold someone from afar. To simply be away from him is not to be safe from him as, he needs not be upclose to someone to do damage to them. What is more, he has a high resistance to pain and damage: he's taken a sword to the gut and lived through a lengthy fall, he's been stabbed repeatedly, he's lost lots of blood and still kept going. His high willpower and refusal to give up grant him the endurance the he needs to continue to push through. While not 'bulletproof' or invulnerable, it takes a lot to hurt him and slow him down. The ill-fated Bolt From The Blue discovered that the hardest way...

Amazon: possesses tactile telekinesis. Much has already been said about this so-called energy field that stems from the mind. The theory behind it is that if she can picture moving it with his mind, and she can touch it, it will be done. This enables her the equivalent of super strength, practical invulnerability, and the ability to fly. In regards of her strength, she has stopped two speeding trains from crashing into each other, and lifted an entire palace as well. Although this would rate her among the strongest heroes on Earth, it can't really be counted as true super-strength. Once she was bound up with energy chains, and since she can't manipulate energy, she was virtually helpless and unable to free herself. And since she can't touch gases, she gets as easily hurt by them as any normal human would. But she is highly resilient, maybe derived from her high level of self-confidence, essential to keep her going. It must be said that when unconscious, her telekinetic field drops, and she can get hurt like any normal human.

The Coven: They were a group of RPGamers who dabbled in magic, intending to "bring a genie of sorts to do their bidding". Unfortunately, things went terribly awry. They didn't read the manuals correctly, or maybe it was the condensed form in the Magic Tome vol. IV that was misspelled. Anyways, they had to collect a sample of blood from someone powerful enough to open the well of dimensions. And they thought Scarab would be the guy. Collecting the blood sample was an adventure in itself, but after achieving it, they started the ritual. To cut a long story short: the magical powers-that-be decided they were unworthy and killed them outright, sucking their pitiful souls into the well. An ironical entity him/herself (gender is a problem, when it comes to universal entities), It decided to play a prank on the sampled being too.

Scarab: The coalescent magical powers-that-be that have been tampered with by The Coven have also done a major change in another character. Having been blood-sampled to trigger the opening of the well of dimensions, Scarab was also dragged into the muddle, and altered drastically, as a lark of sorts. He was turned into a she. His soul was relocated into a female body of awesome powers. Now facing a problem of adjusting into a new body, he (from now on named she) had to convince Compact that she was the same Scarab in a different (some would say enhanced) form. After a time, it seems that the couple has settled. The new Scarab possesses extraordinary strength and virtual invulnerability, her seemingly obsidian skin acting as body armour, the tissue capable of withstanding major damage without showing any effects. She is faster and more agile than average. With a previously gifted mind, she is now one of the most fearsome villains of all time.

Pulse: The brother of the late Bolt From The Blue, Pulse is as powerful as his deceased brother (maybe more). A truthfully striking being, with his skin and hair color, he can generate and control non-audible vibrations at different frequencies. Thrown from a distance, he creates destructive vibrations that can crumble solid concrete and cause extensive damage to the human body and its internal organs, if he so wishes. Crystalline objects (and most metals are crystalline unless specifically alloyed to be amorphous) can be shattered by vibration. Directed at large masses, like buildings or the earth itself, these vibrations produce earthquakes or avalanche-like waves of debris. He can control the scale, locality, direction and intensity of these effects with great precision, though his power is purportedly capable of devastating entire cities. He can also amplify or decrease existing vibrations. Adjusting vibration of his own atoms, it allows him to phase. He absorbs all vibrations and establishes a vibrational shield, which deflects normal blows and allows him to slip from any grasp. He can open locks and safes by causing the sensitive mechanisms inside to vibrate open. He can throw machinery out of kilter by vibrating delicate components. He can send tremors through the air or ground. These don't cause quakes, but require everyone in firing distance to avoid falling over. Unsecured objects can fall and break. Perhaps, his most dangerous ability is when he vibrates his hands at hypersonic speeds, leaving them blurred and capable of inflicting massive damage in close combat.

Umbra: Slipping from shadow to shadow slides a living patch of darkness. Her name is Umbra and she uses her fluid, morphing body to sneak into anywhere. Umbra has no "true" identity. She is known only as Umbra. She lives in the darkness, and can infiltrate even the most secure areas. She can stretch parts of her body in order to attack at range and reach for things at long distance. In her "umbric" form, she is invisible to heat, motion, and many other types of sensors. Gases and fumes do half damage to her and she is immune to drugs that must be ingested or injected. She is a master at prowling and may see normally even in total darkness as though it were normal daylight. This interesting ability is a kind of inner vision that allows her to "see" without using her eyes - a sense that gives her a practically perfect three-dimensional view of the entire circumambient. A master of concealment, Umbra can blend into any scene, whether it is a dark hallway or a crowded room.

Lexicon: has some sort of innate affinity for the printed word in any form - with a simple touch, he can absorb text from any medium, whether it's on a piece of paper or a computer screen - and he can place text onto any medium as well, including particularly his own body. This display of text is his only method of communication with others, he does not speak or even make any sort of vocal sound. His affinity for text also includes decryption, decoding and translation abilities. He intuitively understands any language or code (this includes magic, radio waves, fiber optic signals or anything that represents a flow of information), which makes him a natural linguistic and computer genius. He can absorb information from any system simply by touching it, and while it floods his brain, he can decipher it immediately. He can even stretch his mind onto the Internet. Behind a digital mask, he scours the world's information networks as a spy of sorts, limiting his work to intelligence gathering, especially information retrieval. With his ability to communicate with machines of various sorts, they can be compelled or asked to perform (or misperform) their functions or anything else they are capable of. He can additionally scramble surveillance in a 5-meter radius.

Seraph: wings endow her with the power to fly, completely silent, by flapping her wings, at speeds up to Mach One for up to 6 hours without tiring appreciably. She can attain a maximum altitude of 3400 meters (the limit at which she can still breathe), being able to maneuver with a high degree of precision; for example, she can fly into buildings, through narrow windows, up and down constricted staircases, and through hampered corridors. She can turn, spin, fly upside down, and perform mid-air acrobatics. Besides her glorious blue wings, she is an intuitive "path-finder" - she can mentally locate anything. She possesses a special sense that allows her to find her way to any place or object she is seeking, even with only an abstract idea of what the actual object is. Her extra-sensory perceptions enable her to detect life forms and energy signatures over a vast distance, track down specific artifacts she has encountered, and renders her unnaturally aware of all the occurrences around her. No physical or sensory contact, however tenuous, is required to her ability to function. Consequently, her power is not hampered by the concealment, erasure, or absence of the target's scent. It can operate over immense distances. Furthermore, she has an absolute sense of direction, always knowing which way is polar north.

Mandroid: Ever wondered with whom our intrepid heroes clash time and again besides the main villains? Even wondered about the so-called cannon fodder? Well, the wondering time is over. Here comes the Mandroid(s). The heinous creations of Scarab (back when he was a man - what a convoluted chronicle!), a Mandroid has enhanced physiology due to the nanomachines in his circulatory system. He has enhanced strength, stamina and rapid healing. He's highly resistant to chemical weapons, viruses, bacteria and drugs (such as painkillers or sedatives that won't have any effects on him). Moreover, he is an accomplished martial artist and has uncanny eye-hand coordination, allowing him to use anything for a weapon. Anything he shoots, throws, launches, or otherwise tries to get to a target from range is going to go where he wants it to go. Moving, stationary, it doesn't make any difference - he's the best marksman on the planet. As it so happens, he can pick up most mundane items and figure out some way to hurt somebody with it. Hardware stores and kitchen utensils are virtually cornucopias of mayhem as far as he's concerned. Anyway, if bad comes to worse, and all his other options are exhausted and he's beaten to death, he can be regrown again in the special vats that originally created him (that explains the barcode on his chest - every time he's recreated, another code is set).

Prodigy:is intelligent beyond the dreams of the greatest genius. She can quickly master new subjects, retain that knowledge indefinitely, and easily succeed in any mental endeavour. She has excellent recall for minute physical detail. Her ability to make 'jumps' from non-related facts to conclusions, to solve difficult problems and to analyze situations is practically incomparable. Her expanded mental faculties allow her to determine the weak spots in living beings or structural formations. Her memory is virtually infallible - she can remember with precise details nearly any thing that happened to her and any thing that she dedicates some time to study stays housed in her mind. However, just because she can store a certain fact in her memory, that doesn't mean she can remember it instantly. Sometimes, she needs to stop to think for several seconds or minutes, slowly reading a mental page or searching mental files until rescuing the fact she seeks. She is also an Edison-like genius who takes existing materials and technologies and uses them to create any piece of conventional or cutting-edge technology or ordinance, or into a variety of variant technology devices of her design. Her scientific credentials extend into physics, chemistry, nuclear physics, subatomic physics, and electrical and mechanical engineering to name only a few. Her tactical intellect is finely honed, and she is known for thinking her way out of situations thought impossible by others. She is unflappable; she never panics. She has never been known to lose her cool. Even in the face of tremendous danger, she's calm and collected in the completion of her duties. To see her there calmly still in the middle of a shooting or working in a social situation as a grandmother that can see 20 steps ahead is disconcerting. Nothing surprises her, and even if something does it, she would never demonstrate it. A skilled tactician, she's got a thoroughly knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of the team she is in. Her tail is fully prehensile and all manipulative limbs are equally agile. What's more, she has the flexibility of a circus contortionist.

Impluse: has the ability to manipulate gravitational forces, thus increasing or decreasing the Earth's pull of gravity upon any object or person, including himself. He can control his personal gravity - so that "down" is always beneath his feet (or some other direction he designates). Among other things, this lets him walk on walls, ceilings or at any angle. He can also choose to "fall" in any direction simulating a very uncontrolled form of flight, which many hours of practice have resulted in a high level of controlled falling approximating flight. Top speed cannot exceed terminal velocity (about 240 kph on Earth). By increasing the pull of gravity beneath his opponents, he can pin them to the ground, having made them too heavy to move, or cause sufficient gravitational stress to impair the normal functioning of the human cardiovascular system. Except when he is standing on the ceiling, his powers are essentially invisible. He can also generate e can generate a force blast with a concussive force equivalent to the primary shockwave of an explosion of 9,000 kg of TNT. He can also create a gravitational force field around him capable of protecting him from any concussive force up to and including a small nuclear weapon. He can exert his gravitational control over a maximum distance of 2 km from his body. Because of his tremendous power, he's overbearing and haughty - his greatest shortcoming.

Midget: is a master spy with shrinking abilities - she has the ability to lose size through a process of sub-atomic, bilateral restructuring; she normally carries a variety of microscopic gadgets that she can enlarge to useful size if necessary. Her atomic shrinkage allows her to reduce the size of her atoms, thus reducing overall size and mass. For some as yet unknown reason, her strength does not vanish as she shrinks. As her atoms shrink, they can no longer interact with other, normal size atoms. Fortunately the power envelops her with an aura that temporarily reduces all atoms to be consumed. The strains of constant size shifting have also allowed her to gain unusual strength, damage resistance and resiliency, which she has honed through constant training. She has mastered a variety of martial arts, and she has been able to combine her size shifting and other attributes into a very effective, if unorthodox fighting style. When she shrinks she takes advantage of her extra levels of super leap for move-throughs and move-bys.

Vector:One of the most powerful heroes, Vector is a psychokinetic, meaning he has the ability to move or manipulate physical matter without physically touching it. He can project concussive force from his mind, creating a focus as narrow as a 5.08 cm diameter beam to a 360-degree expanding force-sphere. By stiffening the air, he is able to form a personal force field against physical and energy attacks as well as restraining people in a psychokinetic 'stasis' field. By moving the air under him, he gains a sort of 'flight' (in which he can fly short distances with psychokinetic bursts). He can animate many small objects, pummeling all chosen targets as if the items were thrown. He developed a sense of touch through his psychokinetic grasp, allowing him to handle materials that are not within his sight. It's a sort of radar: he sends out force 'blips' which bounce off of objects and return, giving him an idea of what solid objects are in the room. In addition to simply using his psychokinesis to lift and move things, he can use it to manipulate things at a distance: pushing buttons, moving levers, pulling (or jamming) the triggers of weapons or even pulling the pin from a grenade. He can telekinetically wield objects as weapons, either actual weapons (like swords or knives) or anything he can mentally lift. One of the most powerful and fearsome uses of his power is when he attacks a target internally, squeezing the trachea, a blood vessel or something similar. A veteran of decades of superheroing, Vector is a no-nonsense kind of guy, and he tries to behave as iconically as a superhero must.

Gibraltar:

Vague exists in a state of probability, rendering him a quasi-totally transparent human form – you could see through him effortlessly. None of his features are seen, but his outline. He can easily turn fully invisible, as people’s perceptions slide right over him. He can mask his body heat to be equal with those of his surroundings, thus becoming invisible to thermal vision and heat sensing devices. He is also scentless, capable of defeating dogs or other beings with a super-human sense of smell. Animals (most, anyway) do not recognize him as a human or as a predator, so deer grazes and birds continue to chirp in his presence. Lastly, a bio-aura surrounds him, making him invisible to all cameras, electronic sensors, artificial optics, robots, etc. It means his body is totally transparent to the visible light spectrum. He cannot be mechanically detected or recorded (i.e. by photography or television) and is immune to attacks using visible light (lasers, mostly). The invisibility range can be extended to cover other sections of the energy spectrum (infrared and ultraviolet light, radio waves, hard radiation); this also bestows immunity to attacks using these forms. Another interesting aspect of his invisibility allows others to accompany him inside of his invisible pocket; this, however, is very draining on him. He is rarely seen outside his invisible pocket. His step is so light that he is practically traceless. He runs across the top of snow, does not disturb dust, and almost never makes a ripple when rising from water. He is also a master at zenjoriki, the ninja art. And familiar as he is with the art of moving silently, he can spot the earmarks of the same. He automatically spots people hiding, or notices the tiny mistakes of people sneaking up on him.

She's Magnet. Her bond with the magnetic spectrum allows her to generate energy waves of highly powerful magnetic force. Adequately controlling these emanations, she can transport herself through the lines of Earth’s magnetic field; attract and repel metal objects (iron, steel, nickel and cobalt), allowing her to manipulate, reform and animate them in any shape she desires; generate force fields capable of defending herself of attacks involving metallic objects (swords, bullets, physical attacks); feel the magnetic fields around her - she can determine polarity, force and contour of the field; she can also trace magnetic configurations, and therefore, she is good at tracking. She can short out electronic devices, and interfere with radio-wave transmissions at close range. She also has an infallible sense of direction. She can also generate an intense EM field about her person that disrupts or decreases the effectiveness of attacks; she can also attune the frequency of this field to “anchor” her, within the earth's magnetic field, which makes it difficult for her to be forcibly moved.  By tracking fluctuations in the magnetic fields, she can detect fluctuations of energy. She can wrap metal around an opponent, choosing to have it cause no damage and merely immobilize the opponent, or to inflict damage while trying to crush the opponent. Her power even affects nonmetals through manipulation of the Earth's magnetic field. She can use her power to stun living organic creatures by magnetically disrupting their hearts or nervous systems. She is able to use his power on the air itself, as its two main components - oxygen and nitrogen - are slightly paramagnetic.

Tao has the ability to generate what is called a "selective physics distortion field", which warps reality, bending the natural laws of our world to his wishes. In his own words, "he shifts paradigms". Therefore, he is able to take control of finite packets of space, and in so doing he creates a finite pocket of reality-disrupting force, which reaching upon its intended target, causes disturbance in the molecular-level probability field surrounding the target. Thus, unlikely phenomena will occur. Among the many phenomena he is able to cause are: the sudden melting of gun barrels, the spontaneous combustion of any flammable object, the rapid rust or decay of various organic and inorganic materials, the poltergeist-like deflection of an object in flight, the sudden evacuation of air from a given volume, the disruption of energy transmissions and fields, a sudden ability to run up walls and so on. These phenomena occur practically instantaneously. His control will only extend into the packet of space upon which he focuses his concentration. He creates what he calls "pockets of non-causality" within which all variations of events are equally possible, plausible. What is he really doing is altering the circumstances on a very fine level, causing what could happen to happen. He doesn't create the impossible, he merely alters the world around him in such a way that the most beneficial of occurrences happens. For the casual observer, he is simply phenomenally lucky. All the same, he cannot directly affect living creatures with his power, nor can he cause existing matter to ionize or disintegrate, nor can he reverse the flow of time. Yet.
