Hello & welcome to a private universe created by Fabricio Franco, On this page you will find Bio's & Micro Heroes telling the adventures and misadventures of a group of heroes and villains.

Scarab: was the main villain, the brainy evil lord, and the epitome of the Machiavellian planner. Also, with his Olympic level strength and agility, genius level intellect and awesome resilience, he is indeed a force to be reckoning with. He only lacks on good taste: no one clever as he is would ever choose a red-and-black-striped cape. Or would they?

Compact: If the saying goes right, behind every successful man there's a woman. So, Scarab has his queen, Compact. Tough as nails, she's able to alter her density at will, becoming denser and consequently immune to physical attacks (and gaining a substantial strength). She's 1,60 meter tall and quite touchy about size matters. She's utterly devoted to her husband, and often-found holding grudges against the heroes who defy his plans.

Overguy: The exact opposite of Scarab, his antithesis if you will - Overguy. Possessing bulletproof skin and two times a peak human strength, agility and stamina, he is also an accomplished detective, acrobat and fighter. His shortcomings are few and far between, markedly his lack of fashion sense (stripes again?) and a tendency on embarking on ego trips every now and then (he has an over-ego, but I bet you saw that coming).

Velure: can absorb and deflect sound waves, which gives her the uncanny ability to baffle sensor devices and to cloak her presence in situations where she is out of direct line of sight. She is also a first-rate martial artist.

Extant: Although Extant can be killed through normal means, he always returns to life within 24 hours, at his full health. Because his body regenerates lost parts as it heals, his very atoms would have to be scattered across vast areas of space for him to be lastingly slain. During the time of his 'death', he has no bodily life signs and truly is dead for any practical purposes. As he knows he can't be permanently stopped, he takes great risks and lets his need for danger and thrills get in the way too often.

Spotlight: is one of the oldest heroes still in action. He has been with several hero groups since his teens, and now, in his supposed sixties, he's sort of a mentor to the new generation. His power revolves around light: he is able to produce bursts of brilliant, pure light from his body, reason why he's kept under a special costume, designed to keep his "light energy" under control. If he concentrates, he can fire bolts of laser from his eyes. As a special effect, he can reflect light back at his attackers at full strength.

Slide: can generate a force field of deflective energy about herself that disperses the kinetic energy from impacts and disrupts energy projections, thus canceling out even friction so that she can travel by sliding across it in a fast way (but not super speed). She wears a costume that conceals her real identity to the world, though it permits sensory input.

Task: is considered one of the most dangerous men alive. He possesses far more stamina and endurance than a normal human could ever achieve. He never suffers from exhaustion, being immune to fatigue poisons, and he seems to function at peak levels with no need to sleep. In fact, he never goes unconscious. He is also very well adroit. Formerly Velure's partner, she discontinued the relationship, much to his chagrin, because she couldn't condone his harsher approach to issues.

Cinnamon: can induce in her victims an overwhelming monomania that renders them completely without a will of their own. In this state, they become extremely receptive to suggestion and will follow her every verbal command. Only a very few individuals proved capable of resisting her will-sapping power. A side effect of the her power is a very strong smell of cinnamon. She can simultaneously subjugate as many people as were present within the range of the pheromones she exudes. Ordinarily, the effects last only as long as she is physically present and upon recovery from her power, her victims usually have a splitting headache. She also has an enhanced sense of hearing.

Grasshopper: After he has found a mystical gem on an archeological site, Grasshopper was endowed with superhuman leaping ability. He can make huge, sprawling leaps and land, unharmed. His powerful legs and dense bones can absorb great strain; thus his innate safeguards against damage also protect anything he is carrying. He is quite agile and can dodge projectiles with ease. Additionally, his multifaceted eyes enable him an almost 270-degree field of vision. Because of his obvious physical modification, he is one of the heroes who never adopted a secret identity; he rather chose to remain somewhat apart. He's not an unhappy fellow, though. Quite loquacious, he is known for his mirthful sense of humour and his extensive knowledge of Japanese tokusatsu (live-action series). The gem, which is empowering him, is encased in his buckle.

Dryad: A hybrid between fauna and flora with green skin, Dryad is a chloroform-based lifeform with the ability to accelerate (or to delay) the growth of any plant, to an unholy degree, to the point of making them grow far beyond their natural size. Additionally, she can impart limited movement and rudimentary self-awareness to normally unintelligent plants. One of the oddest tricks of hers is when she makes a plant to relate the experiences it "witnessed". In battle, she is far from defenseless: she can force thorns and spores to sprout from her body, and can even throw them. She is capable of photosynthesis, not needing to eat. Her several fragrances can intoxicate people or call insects. If so desired, her feet create roots, making her sort of immovable. She can even reproduce any kind of vegetal poison. To finish up her powers, she can even regrow any lost limbs, in a very slow rate.

Outburst: His body was infused with explosive energy. Any time he makes physical contact with an object his touch results in a powerful explosion. Furthermore, he can cause an explosion of great magnitude, which starts at the point of ground contact and extends out to farther than 100 metres. Unaffected by his explosions, he is condemned to live inside a special reinforced suit to contain his energy without harming anybody else. As an effect of his energies, he's dense enough to deflect bullets and has enhanced strength that allows him to lift several tons. His suit was modified to allow him to direct his energies from special outlets in his gloves as a powerful, directed blast; or from his boots to allow him to fly like a rocket, though not very fast as he has little control over his flight. Since he has no mouth, he speaks through a voice synthesizer built into his suit.

Codex: She matrix-absorbing talent enables her to replicate the ability of anyone in her vicinity by assuming their energy signatures, allowing her to duplicate powers. While she could store the powers of up to seven super-beings, if she has hit the limit and takes in a new one, then an odd one is 'bumped out'. The process of absorbing attributes is conscious; she does not have to duplicate a being's power if she does not choose to. She can maintain and employ a given set (or sets) of powers for approximately three years before template replication fatigue causes the template to degenerate. There appears to be no limit to the number of times she can take on the same powers derived from the same individual. Nonetheless, she cannot duplicate powers that negate powers (e.g. nullification).

Point Blank: is a reluctant hero. An assumed coward, he is capable of opening spatial apertures, or warps in space, between any two locations, with which he can teleport himself and others across almost any distance instantaneously. His power also allows him to reach through his warps and manipulate things, redirect attacks, and view other locations, as they have whatever orientation he chooses. His power is accompanied by a blank-white glow, so that's the reason of his name.

Schism: has the ability to split at will into two bodies, with one central mind, and then later recombine back into a composite form. Each body is identical, and will often say the exact same thing at the same time. Other times one will continue the dialogue and thought pattern from the other. When each body is working independently, all memories attained apart become shared once she rejoins. She must be beside herself to pull herself together. The duplicates are also telepathically and empathically linked. The speed of her splitting process is sudden and it carries enough force behind it that she can shatter thin metal casings if hardened around her. Even in singular form, she has twice the strength of a normal woman her size and is very resistant to diseases. When she splits, each body has the same strength of the original, therefore, she can "double" her strength by dividing. The divided bodies don't have a different name per se, but they are known by the sobriquets "Turquoise" and "Ashen".

Bolt From the Blue: (possibly the longest super-moniker of all time, excepting the Japanese Sentai names) used his mind to initiate vibrations, ranging from faint to very powerful, in the very 'fabric' of all tangible objects. If it had a tangible presence and could be felt for more than a split second, he could affect it, even energy force fields. In addition, he was capable of creating a resonance shield, vibrating the air molecules around him to a degree, allowing a sort of shield to be formed. His power also allowed him to lift himself off the ground and hang stationary in the air. A man so powerful couldn't be defeated, but he got just that: a sound thrashing. So sound, in fact, that it killed him. When dealing the Scarab and Compact, he couldn't imagine how treacherous the couple would be setting him against another unfamiliar and unnamed villain (later to be known as Singularity). Afterwards his brother appeared to avenge him, becoming a hero himself.

Eclipse: Extra-dimensional access allows Eclipse to shift herself sideways through space in order to possess the body of another person, enabling her to overpower her host's will. The precise mechanism of her powers remains a mystery. All that is known is that she is able to project her quantum conscience to the cerebral waves of a sentient target, subordinating their will to her own. Her body takes a spectral form and she actually enters her victim's body. Once this is done, she controls her subject's actions (and he/she is compelled to obey) and experiences what her subject perceives. During the possession, her subject's higher brain functions revert to diminished levels, similar to a dreamless sleep, and the subject is left with no memory of the actual possession or of anything that happened to them during it. Immediately after possession commences, she can move the subject's body as thought it were her own, but with some awkwardness. After a brief period (whose length varies according to the differences between her own body and the subject's), she becomes acclimated to the host body and can make full use of its reflexes, strengths, agility and other abilities. She can even possess dead bodies. She also gains access to the victim's powers, but not skills. So far, there has been no determination as to how long she can control another's body.
