You guessed it : She points to the top of the steps, and begins to climb them. Stan kicks her derriere. She comes down a step and punches Ollie on the nose. It knocks his hat off. She lunges for Stan and knocks his hat off too. Ollie says

Stan and Ollie pick their hats up, and learning from past experience, exchange before they put them on. However, they had the correct hats in the first place! Ollie notices they have the wrong hats on. He takes the one he is wearing off, and hands it to Stan. Stan mistakenly hands Ollie the same hat back. They pick up the machine. They put down the machine again, and Ollie hands his hat to Stan again. Stan takes off his hat, and some confusion follows. Stan keeps trying to swap hats with Ollie, but keeps handing back the wrong one. Ollie gets fed up and throws the hat to the ground. Stan does the same with the hat he has.
Ollie pushes the washing machine over, and kicks Stan's hat away.
