The film begins with Stan and Ollie being thrown out of a cafe by the manager. He hangs up a card and goes back in.

The Boys pick themselves up and replace their hats. They have on the wrong hats. A close up of the sign the Manager put up reads "Wanted - Two Dishwashers".
Stan and Ollie look at each other, and realise they have on the wrong hats. They swap. As they walk along the sidewalk, Stan stops and looks down at a brick resting on some paper. Stan turns, sees the sign and picks up the brick. He begins to throw it at the window of the cafe, but Ollie stops him.

Ollie throws the brick through the window and it breaks. They walk away, and go into a doorway. They look back and smile at each other. Then, they see another sign in the doorway.
Wanted - Snappy salesmen to sell washing machines etc.
Stan asks

Fin comes out of his store, whose doorway Stan and Ollie are standing in.
