Laraine Newman

Despite the fact that she never gained as much praise for her work as most of the cast, Laraine still developed some amazingly funny characters and did some wonderful impressions during her years on SNL! She shown as a pioneer for female comediennes everywhere just as Jane Curtin and Gilda Radner did as well. A few of Laraine’s funniest impressions/characters are: Fatima Asad, Connie Conehead, Barbra Streisand, Amy Carter, and the VERY FUNNY Christy Christina!
