The Gods' Chosen

...and why they're now furries.

The Gods' Chosen, the warriors to come together when the world is in jeopardy, came from all over the world. Each had their own special skills and goals. When Ayunta's wrath threatened the world, the eight chosen warriors unconciously found one another, and learned to work together to defeat her. The eight included Laushan, the quiet fighter, Jozan, the comedic black mage, Ivy, the exitable paladin, Sakura, the adventuresome ranger, Zeek and Zeke, a twin summoning and rogue duo, Rune, the sharp-tongued bard, and Tempest, the sensitive cleric.

These eight, once they learned to cooperate, held the power to save the world from the sorceress. Once she was defeated, there was no call for the warriors anymore, and they fell back into normalicy, living out the rest of their lives peacefully.

Ages later, when Caleb's plans threatened the world once again, the warriors' spirits were sought out by the gods. However, the Gods' Chosen being long since deceased, the spirits had been transferred into beings from another unvirse entirely. A world were furry creatures walked upright and spoke, existing as humans. These creatures, called furries, were summoned by the gods to the world in danger, and put in control of the Game Master, the only surviving witness of the original Gods' Chosen battle. He was to train the new warriors to work together and to give them what they needed to defeat Caleb.

The furries know very little about their spirits, only what the Game Master had told them. They will need to realize the power their spirits give them and who they used to be before they can truely defeat Caleb.
