A Woodland Scene

reinterpreted by Christy Maker

This is the picture as it originally looked.
When I look at this picture, I feel like going inside and curling up next to a fire.
I see that the sun is about to set and there is snow on the ground.
Inside, next to a fire, I would feel cozy and content.

For this image wanted to depict the scene at night with a full moon.
To make this image, I changed all of the colors.
At night colors look grayish but moonlight tends to make somethings glow.
I also deleted the cloud at the horizon because it obscured the moon too much.
I get a feeling of mystery from this picture but it makes me feel a bit lonely too.

For this image I created the scene on a beautiful spring day.
Again I changed all of the colors to make them bright and cheerful.
I deleted the sun and the clouds and colored the sky midday blue.
I also added several clipart elements.
The blossoms on the trees are duplicated, resized and rotated for a varied look.
The floweres on the ground were duplicated and resized.
The chipmunk was resized (I really wanted a deer but I couldn't find one).
I used a gradient fill for the water and the grass to give the scene more depth.
When I look at this picture I feel happy and hopeful.

For this image I changed the scene to a summer thunder storm.
I used the drawing tools to create the foliage on the trees and the lightning.
I used rich dark colors to create the dark look of an afternoon storm.
I love summer thunder storms so when I look at this picture, I feel thrilled and excited.
