Megacon 2004: Well I got to see Nick Cardy this year! I REALLY lucked out this time! He wasn't doing much as far as sketches; he had pre-drawn ones for sale. I somehow managed to get a classic Cain sketch all the same though! And isn't it nice? I also got a Dreaming artist, Bo Hampton, to draw a very cute Cain. The picture makes me want to snuggle! That's it though, there wasn't even anyone else I really wanted a sketch from.

Megacon 2003: So, here it is; an UPDATE! My beautiful treasures from Megacon available at last! Lemme see... where should I start.... Well, I got a few non-HOM related artists to do pictures of Cain. I was just in that sort of mood. They came out nice, and just as well as if the artists had worked with him before. I even got an editor to draw me a cartoon of him. I was VERY disappointed that not only Nick Cardy, but Bernie Wrightson both canceled out on the convention. I REALLY wanted a chance to talk to Bernie, and get a Nick Cardy sketch. But you have to check out the GORGEOUS Saviuk and Tuska portraits. I could stare at them for hours, but I wont. Although when I start to, it IS ever so, ever so tempting

San Diego Comicon 2002: Earlier this year I took all my inpatients on a field-trip to the San Diego Comicon! Believe me, it's fabulously therapeutic! Anyway, while I was there, I was fortunate enough to get some top Vertigo artists to draw me pictures of.......(who could it possibly be?).... Cain! Which, you know, makes me positively GLEEFUL! They were all very nice and willing to spend a few moments talking about him. Though I'd have to say the full page drawing that Sergio Aragones so kindly made for me was what made the whole trip worthwhile. I can't even BEGIN to express how MUCH I LOVE that picture!!!!!!! My love and gratitude goes out to Sergio, whose known Cain, and the other mystery hosts, for QUITE some time!
