Bargaining- Buffy is dead and buried. Giles, with no slayer to watch, heads back to England and leaves Anya to manage the Magic Box. Willow and Tara have moved into the Summers home and are acting as Dawn's guardians. Willow has reprogrammed the Buffybot: it not only slays Sunnydale's demons, it goes to college and attends PTA meetings so Dawn's dad remains unaware of Buffy's death. Willow, Tara, Anya and Xander secretly perform a powerful spell at Buffy's gravesite to resurrect the Slayer, but the spell is interfered with by a group of demon bikers and the Slayerettes flee, not knowing if the spell worked or not. Buffy's resurrection goes unnoticed by the gang and when she does get back above ground, she is not herself and wanders back to the scene of her own death.
The demon motorcycle gang challenges the Buffybot and they damage the Buffybot badly and discover that the Slayer is really gone. The Buffybot stays "alive" long enough to tell Dawn of the real Buffy's return. Dawn finds Buffy at the tower, where Buffy defeats the demon gang and, at episode's end, reunites with the Scoobies.
After Life- Buffy and her friends are visited by a demon that forces them to deal with the repercussions of Buffy's resurrection.
Flooded- Now head of the household, Buffy tries to juggle such everyday responsibilities as paying for new plumbing while also trying to stop a demon sent by a new evil in town.
Life Serial- Buffy does her best to get on with her life while villains, Jonathan, Warren and Andrew unwittingly put the Slayer through a series of tests in order to find her weakness.

All the Way- Buffy's friends celebrate Xander and Anya's engagement while Dawn puts herself in danger when she sneaks out with friends to do some Halloween-night mischief.
Once More, With Feeling- A "Buffy" musical. A demon is summoned to Sunnydale forcing Buffy and her friends to sing their deepest secrets to one another.
Tabula Rasa- Where are the Scoobies to go now after their run in with the musical demon? After revealing all of their secrets to each other, what would happen if they couldn't remember anything?
Smashed- While Jonathan, Warren, and Andrew work to obtain a mystical diamond that will help them defeat the Slayer, Spike learns that there is something wrong with his chip that seems to allow him to attack people. Meanwhile, Willow reunites with an old friend to cause some magical mayhem.

Wrecked- As Buffy continues to fight her attraction to Spike, Willow and Amy's relationship leads them to a very dangerous place.
Gone- A social services worker threatens to take guardianship of Dawn. Complicating matters, the three villians accidentally turn Buffy invisible with a ray gun forcing the gang to rely on Willow's natural brainpower to save the slayer.
Doublemeat Palace- In order to make ends meet, Buffy takes a new job at a fast food restaurant where there's something fishy about the food and her co-workers.
Dead Things-Buffy investigates why Spike is suddenly able to attack her, despite the chip in his head. Meanwhile, Jonathan, Warren and Andrew try to frame Buffy for murder.
