BIOGGRAPHY
Terry use to be a normal 17 year old living with his dad (his parents were divorced), he was on the wrestling team, and had a girlfriend, Dana Tan. However, his life soon began to spin out of control. After trying to escape some of the members of the Jokerz, a biker gang, he met a strange old man, Bruce Wayne. He discovered that Wayne was once the infamous Batman, long since retired. Not long afterwards. When Derek Powers and Mr. Fixx murdered Terry's father, and Terry discovered plans for illegal biological weapons, he turned to the only man who could help him, Batman. When a bitter Bruce Wayne pushed Terry away, Terry responded by stealing the Bat-Suit and proceeded to exact his own form of justice, by taking in both Fixx and Powers. Bruce tried to stop him, but Terry reasoned that someone had to stop them before the weapons were shipped that night, and it would be his last chance for vengeance for his father, and to put that ghost to bed. Having lost his parents in the same way, Wayne finally conceded and allowed Terry to stop Mr. Fixx and Powers. After Terry succeeded in stopping Powers and Mr. Fixx, Wayne saw Terry worthy enough to become the new and permanent Batman. He was certainly inexperienced and young, but so were Wayne's other prodigies, as was Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, and Tim Drake. Thus the mantle was handed down, and Terry McGinnis became the Future Knight. In his career Terry has taken down such foes as Inque, Blight, Spellbinder, the Royal Flush Gang and even the likes of old time Batman foes such as, Mr. Freeze and even the Joker.

Like Bruce Wayne, Terry McGinnis understands what it is like to lose a loved one to a criminal act. After a fight with his father, 17-year-old Terry stormed out of his house, only to return and find his home trashed and his father murdered. Having earlier discovered Bruce Wayne's dark secret, Terry asks Batman to help avenge his father's death. But the millionaire tycoon has become too old to fight. Reluctantly at first, Bruce hires Terry as his new assistant and successor, bestowing upon him a new Batsuit to help fight crime in Gotham.
