News for January 2003 ....
The Lord is moving in a big way bringing in the 'Lost Sheep'. We see every where people hungry for the Word thronging to churches and evangelistic meetings.
But we also see Satan has hightened his activities. There is a wide spread persecution of Christians, subtily backed by people in power in the Central as well as State governments. An unprecedented number of cases of torching of churches have been witnessed which are by and large covered up by the official machinery as attributable to local feuds or other minor causes.
What we see here is deep rooted conspiracy against Christianity, scripted and executed by organisations and political parties in India. There are other political parties who are silent spectators as they are not sympathetic to the cause of the Christians. However, there are some political parties, few in number, on the issue of secularism are voicing their concern in support of Christians.
In this country of 1000millions only 2.5 percent are Christians which includes Catholics. A small minority of these are born again Christians and even smaller are those who have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is putting a burden on all these souls to stand up for Christ and face Satanic designs.
In this new year, 2003, it has therefore become a challenge to face up to these threats which are evil designs against Christianity. We are calling all Christians of all denominations to join in the battle against Satanic forces and designs to persecute and suppress Christianity.
