Your website is very impressive. The quality and quantity of research that you have done is overwhelming. My grandfather, Surajballi Maraj- an indentured immigrant, who always held my hands as a child, taking me to Mandirs and Phagwah celebrations and so on, always told me, "If you don't know where you came from from, you don't know where you are going". These were incredibly deep words, yet so simple to understand

He arrived in 1913 on SS Ship Sutlej at Anna Regina, Essequibo and departed this world in 1966. I did my research and went to India in 1999 and found the house where my grandfather was born and to my suprise, I also have relatives existing. The welcome was breath taking. The efforts and work you are putting out on Indentureship should be applauded by all. I am sure happy that this is happening and you are promoting Indian Culture everywhere. I salute you my brother. Keep up the good work.

I met Mr Budhram (senior) through my doctor. In addition to that, I never knew that he met my father's eldest brother in New York few months ago.
