As an electronic republic energy is the life blood of our society, as we approach an energy crisis in the physical United States of America where most information is created on the internet we must provide support for increasing production and conservation. We at the DOE make sure that all computer equipment we operate in Energy Star compliant. We also encourage you to do so to. The subject energy production is complicated and the DOE is considaring a back up generator for our electric needs.

Things the DOE endorses: Drilling in ANWR, no taxes on energy production and mandating Energy Star compliance on all home computer equipment.
