If you didn't want to invite me,
that's okay.
I know it's nothing personal
You just don't like me more than you like them
it's no big deal,
I don't care
But what if I do?
Because I do care
It hurts my feelings
When you don't care enough
about me, to be aware
that I might be hurt,
because I do hurt
I hurt a lot
And I wish that you would invite me
so that I, too, could feel accepted
It's not that you didn't invite me
No, thats not what hurts
It's because you told me you wouldn't,
and who you'd invite instead.
