Catalog Cover
The SKC Comprehensive Catalog and Air Sampling Guide was a full color annual production. Multi-tasking and organization were essential, as it was a large undertaking every year amid other projects. The 198-page catalog required consistency, attention to detail, numerous changes, numerous deadlines and a constant focus on the final product as a whole. My Photoshop expertise quietly enhances the publication where product, models and stock photography seamlessly blend. Years of printing knowledge allowed me to fend off potential problems before making it from the design stage. That experience also permitted efficient, expected results while conducting the many press inspections involved.

Brochure Cover: Particulate Matters
This two-color brochure served a dual purpose. First its intent was to educate about the hazards of inhaling particulate matter. Second, of course, was to sell products to sample for particulate matter. The title of Particulate Matters was my original idea and carried through inside with headings such as Matters of Concern and Respirable Matters.

Brochure Cover: Color Detector Tubes
Color detector tubes were products distributed by SKC, but manufactured elsewhere. Since SKC distributed for two competing manufactures, two matching brochures were produced. Therefore, it was best to stay conservative with the design. Neither brochure was better than the other, but both were professional and appealing in full color.

Brochure Cover: Dermal and Surface
The products in this brochure were attached to the skin as a patch or swiped along a surface. If the products changed color then those effected were being exposed to harmful contamination. Many times the contamination could not be seen with the eye, which gave me the idea for this title and design. The two-color brochure was produced in black and fluorescent green. Had it been cost effective, my paper of choice would have been heat sensitive (changing color to the touch).

Brochure Cover: AirChek2000
This full color, tri-fold brochure introduced the AirChek2000 air sample pump that replaced time-consuming calibration methods with a computer interface. They were looking for a way to tie together the new pump, the computer software and the new Millenium. The cover is a combination of stock photography, digital photography, screen captures and effects compiled in Photoshop.

Flyer: Leland Legacy
Designed as a tradeshow handout, this flyer was short, to the point and very effective. Until the Leland Legacy Sample Pump was introduced, those capable of high flow rates were too large to be considered Personal Sample Pumps. The photo was compiled in Photoshop using three different digital photographs and a background from stock. Final output was on a high quality inkjet printer.

Flyer: QuickTake 30
Another flyer for use as a tradeshow handout, the QuickTake 30 also was a direct hit. The major selling point was that it was battery operated making it mobile and available at a moment's notice. The man was a stock photo and I shot the product with a digital camera. Final output was on a high quality inkjet printer.

Book Cover: Oh no, What now?
This freelance book cover was compiled in Photoshop from a great number of digital photographs taken by myself. The book is a collection of short, but true, stories of hysterical natural disasters and obscure misadventures. The author did not know what he wanted on the cover. Knowing him very well, this cover seemed obvious to me.
