Purple Mountain Majesty vanity plates are flat and are issued in combinations between two and seven and a half (seven plus a dash, space, or period) characters. It is clear from the plate above that the state could fit more than seven characters on a plate - probably more like nine - but that most likely won't be happening at any point in the near future. Purple Mountain Majesty vanity plates are very expensive as plates go - $60 upon application and $50 upon yearly renewal.
