Issued for $25 to anyone who desires to commemorate the 10th Mountain Division, a United States Special Forces group that trains in Colorado's Rocky Mountains.

Although I wouldn't normally mention it, today (February 16, 2003) I went to the airport to pick up some family members and arrived early, so I decided to browse around in the airport parking garage for a few minutes. In the ten minutes I was walking around, I saw no less than six 10th Mountain Division plates. Observant plate spotters who have visited Colorado know that 10th Mountain Division plates are extremely unusual at best, and I thought this was an interesting anomaly. Perhaps these tags were issued to military members who have been called to active duty?
