If Only I Could Turn Back Time
I took my three sons to church and Sunday school from the time they was born.
The Stranger
Someone has stolen my son away
And as a young children two professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptised.
Later when they became teenagers they soon lost interested in church and choose to stay home.
I continued going to church by myself for a while
then became discouraged by my families lost interest and I stopped attending as well.
That day I made the biggest mistake of my life!
Sound familiar?
and left a stranger in his place,
A cold uncaring, thoughtless man
with pain upon his face.
I do not recognize this man who bears my loved ones name,
Whos trail of sin and broken hearts make me recoil in shame.
He was a loving little child a meek and humble soul,
how could I know that time and life would turn his heart stone cold.
What put the frown upon his face, and made his spirit old?
What killed the love within his being,and blacken his very soul?
I know the child I knew and love
must be somewhere inside,yet when I try to call him out
he runs away to hide.
Night Cry
In the late dark night when the world is still
and the stars and the moon hang high.
If you quite your mind and you listen close you will hear ten-thousand cries!
And the sound you'll hear are the Mothers cries
to their God on bended knee;
save my family, Lord
keep them safe from harm,
let their blinded eyes now see!
Oh, the tears that are shed,
down beside their bed
as they pray so long and true.
If you listen close,
and you quite your mind;
You may hear one pray for you.
Fear Not! Rejoice!
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Let Go Of The Stone
So burdened by life's heartaches my spirit weaped and moaned,
I pleaded,"Jesus lift my load! Said he "Let go the stone!"
Now asking what the words could mean,and feeling all alone.
Once more the Savior calls to me,"My child,"Let go the stone!"
Prayed I to him more earnet still,"Help me to understand!"
The words you speak confuse me Lord,I'm just a mortal man.
So tenderly speaks he again,"Child you are not alone!
"Why lay you down your load to me,yet steal away a stone?"
Then draws my Savior closer still unto my searching heart,
At last the words he spoke to me ring clearly in my soul.
Lord,now I see and understand, at last my eyes are shown,
For you to lift our heavy load we must lay down "all stones".

A Little Humor Is Good For The Soul!
I Believe
There was this atheist swimming in the ocean.
All of sudden
he sees this shark in the water, so he starts swimming towards
his boat.
As he looks back he sees the shark turn and head
towards him.
His boat is a way off and he starts swimming like
crazy.
He's scared to death, and he turns to see the jaws of the
great white beast open revealing its teeth in horrific splendor.
The atheist then screams, "Oh God! Save me!"
In an instant, time
is frozen and a bright light shines down from above.
The man is
motionless in the water when he hears the voice of God say, "You
are an atheist.
Why do you call upon me when you do not believe
in me?"
The atheist, with confusion and knowing he can't lie,
replies, "Well, that's true, I don't believe in you, but how
about the shark?
Can you make the shark believe in you?"
The Lord replies, "As you wish," and the light retracted back
into the heavens and the man could feel the water begin to move
once again.
As the atheist looks back he can see the jaws of the shark
start to close down on him, when all of a sudden the shark stops
and pulls back.
Shocked, the man looks at the shark as the huge
beast closes its eyes and bows its head and says...........
"Thank you Lord for this food which I am about to
receive....."
[Eph 6:12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places.
A Letter From Satan To You
I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores.
You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact,
you didn't even bless your meals, or pray before going
to bed last night. You are so unthankful. I like that about you.
I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed
your way of living. Fool! You are mine. Remember, you and I
have been going steady for years, and I still don't love you yet.
As a matter of fact, I hate you, because I hate God. I am only
using you to get even with God. He kicked me out of heaven,
and I'm going to use you as long as possible to pay him back.
You see, Fool, GOD LOVES YOU and HE has great plans
in store for you. But you have yielded your life to me and I'm
going to make your life a living hell. That way we'll be together twice.
This will really hurt God. Thanks to you. I'm really showing Him who's
boss in your life. With all of the good times we've had.....
We have been watching dirty movies, cursing people out,
partying, stealing, lying hypocriting, fornicating, overeating,
telling dirty jokes, gossiping, backstabbing people,
disrespecting adults and those in leadership position,
NO respect for the church, bad attitudes:
SURELY you don't want to give all this up.
Come on, Fool, let's burn together forever. I've got some
hot plans for us. This is just a letter of appreciation from me
to you. I'd like to say "THANKS" for letting me use you for
most of your foolish life. You are so gullible. I laugh at you.
When you are tempted to sin, you give in. HA HA HA
You make me sick.
Sin is beginning to take its toll on your life.
You look 20 years older. I need new blood. So go ahead
and teach some children how to sin. All you have to do is smoke,
drink alcoholic beverages, cheat, gamble, gossip, fornicate,
and listen to and dance to the top 10 jams. Do all of this in the
presence of children and they will do it too. Kids are like that.
Well, Fool, I have to let you go for now. I'll be back in a couple of
seconds to tempt you again. If you were smart, you would run somewhere,
confess your sins, live for God with what little bit of life that you have
left. It's not my nature to warn anyone, but to be your age and still
sinning, it's becoming a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I still hate you......
IT'S JUST THAT YOU'D MAKE A BETTER FOOL FOR CHRIST.

The Dream
A young man lay upon his bedroom floor,
Having drank so much he could drink no more.
And so he fell asleep with a troubled mind,
He slipped into a dream about the end of time.
The man fell on his face and moaned an anguished cry!
Please save me Lord, I'm not prepared to die!
But to his sad plea, he heard the Savior say,
"I called you long ago, but you turned me away!"
You've waited to late, this is the end of time.
I'm sorry son, now you'll be left behind.
As the moon turned to blood and the earth to shake,
the young man screamed, and then he was awake.
He pulled himself up from the bedroom floor,
to kneel and pray a prayer like he had never before.
Lord, save my soul, and heal my troubled mind.
And Lord , when you return please don't leave me behind!

His Mysterious Ways
The Lord has a way of revealing those of us who know him, and those that don't!
Think about it!
Al Gore gave a big speech this week about how his faith is so " important " to him.
In this attempt to convince the American people that we should consider him for president,
he announced that his favorite Bible verse is John 16:3.
Of course, the speech writer meant John 3:16, but nobody in the Gore camp was fimiliar enough with scripture to catch the error.
John 16:3 says: "And they will do this because they have not known the Father nor Me."
The Holy Spirit works in strange ways.........
