"Evergrace", or commonly known as "that lousy PS2 RPG", was not considered "lousy" due to an abysmal storyline or gameplay but more of a drab job of programming by inexperienced PS2 developers. Now that "From Software", the makers of Armored Core 2 and the first Evergrace, have some Emotion Engine experience, they no longer see PS2 programming as more than just Greek characters. A clear example of their programming effort shows in the easily visible vast improvements in their latest creation, "Evergrace 2", for the PS2.
