After announcing yesterday that Nintendo had confirmed a September launch date for it's 128-bit console GameCube, Reuter's reported today that Nintendo of Japan Executive Vice President Atsuo Asada mentioned a September release for US Gamecube was incorrect. The problem arose with a a mistranslation error. He did in fact say that Gamecube was on track for an October release.
