Sony Dominates Holiday Hardware Sales

Now that the holidays are over and the new year is now completely underway, retailers have to submit their sales records to their parent companies and the official videogame hardware sales are in. Between the PlayStation One and the PlayStation2, Sony took over 57% of the market share while Nintendo and Sega took 21.5% and 21.4%, respectively. Here are the official numbers:
PSOne - 292,000 units (34.7% share)
PS2 - 188,000 units (22.4% share)
N64 - 181,000 units (21.5% share)
Dreamcast - 180,000 units (21.4% share)
